Who We Are
Mike Kantola
Mike is co-owner of Third Coast Builders, Inc. When not on the job, Mike generally escapes to the remote corners of the Upper Peninsula where he enjoys trout fishing, saunas at camp, and long skis through wild lands. He also plays guitar and bass in several local bands.
He and his wife Mindy are in the process of building an off-grid home on Lake Superior. In true Finnish tradition, the sauna is the first building.
Ian Zender
Ian is co-owner of Third Coast Builders, Inc. When not swinging a hammer, Ian spends time with his wife and two children, often retreating to his family homestead in the Upper Peninsula forest. Ian recently got a dirt bike, and is now cruising the woods at a pace unlike any he has known before.
Ian is a certified yoga instructor and plays the electric violin.
